Jump-Start Service
Dead battery? We bring a professional booster pack and test the charging system before you go.

Fixed where you sit
Most roadside calls end with you driving away instead of riding in the truck. Five services, all handled from the same trucks that tow — so if the fix doesn't take, the tow is already there.
Dead battery? We bring a professional booster pack and test the charging system before you go.
Spare installed, low tire aired up, or a plug for a simple puncture — right where you are.
Keys locked inside? Non-destructive entry for most cars, trucks, and SUVs.
Ran dry? We deliver enough gasoline to get you to the nearest station.
Car battery replacement where you're parked: new battery delivered and installed on the spot — standard, AGM, H6, H7, and H8 sizes.
Tell dispatch what the car is doing, or not doing, and they'll match it to one of these.
Dispatch starts with the cheapest thing that could work. A car that clicks but won't crank gets a jump-start and a battery test, not a tow. A flat with a good spare gets a tire change. If the driver finds something that can't be fixed at the curb, like a failed alternator, a damaged wheel, or a spare that's flat too, you're told the tow price and decide on the spot. Nobody hooks up your car without your say-so.
Every Safeway truck carries a professional booster pack, a floor jack and impact gun, tire plugs and an air compressor, non-destructive lockout tools, gasoline fuel cans, and a stock of common battery group sizes (standard, AGM, H6, H7, H8). That's why the same truck can handle a jump-start that turns into a battery replacement without a second trip.
If a jump-start doesn't hold, the spare is flat too, or the lockout reveals a bigger problem, the same driver can load the vehicle on the spot. You'll be told the tow price before anything is hooked up.

Questions
Then the battery, or something that charges it, has failed. The driver can test the alternator on the spot, and if it's the battery, install a new one from the truck. If the problem is bigger than a battery, the same truck can tow you, and you'll hear that price before anything is hooked up.
For most cars, trucks, and SUVs, yes. We use non-destructive entry tools at the door frame and never go through the glass. Dispatch will ask for the year, make, and model so the driver brings the right tools.
Gasoline only. The driver brings enough to get you running and to the nearest open station. For a diesel that ran dry, dispatch can send a tow instead.
